Amanda Baker Kivett

Amanda practices exclusively in the area of family law. She opened her own practice in 2007 focusing on divorce and child custody in both Missouri and Kansas. She has served as a guardian ad litem and mediator. Amanda received her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

During law school she represented clients through both the Child and Family Services Clinic and the Guardian ad Litem Clinic and has to continue to do so as a supervising attorney for law students. While maintaining her private practice, Amanda has worked as a contract attorney for Hope House, helping to meet the legal needs of victims of domestic violence. She clerked for the Honorable Sherrill Rosen and Honorable Christine Sill-Rogers of the Jackson County Circuit Court. Amanda is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Association of Women Lawyers, and Missouri Bar.
